Website Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information the website steffimendozamd.com collects and how we use it. It applies to this website only. Medical records and health information you share as a patient are covered by our separate Notice of Privacy Practices.

Who we are

Steffi Mendoza, M.D. PLLC, a child, adolescent, and young adult psychiatry practice at 5300 Town and Country Blvd #240, Frisco, TX 75034. Phone/Text: (469) 956-3161.

What we collect

  • What you type into our consultation request form, such as your name, phone number, email address, preferred times to talk, who the appointment is for (for example, “my son” or “myself”), and how you heard about us. Please don’t put symptoms, diagnoses, medications, or other health details in the form. We’ll talk about those privately by phone.
  • Basic technical information that most websites log automatically, such as browser type, device type, and the pages you visit. We use PostHog to understand site traffic and improve the site.

Website analytics

We use PostHog to understand how visitors use this website. That includes page traffic, heatmaps, and session replays. Session replays are masked so form fields and readable page text are not shown in recordings. We do not use cookies or other device storage (such as localStorage) for this analytics, so you should not see a cookie banner for it. We do not run session recording, heatmaps, dead-click tracking, or surveys on the free consultation request page (/schedule-a-consultation) or the contact page (/contact). IP addresses are anonymized. We do not build marketing profiles of website visitors.

How we use it

  • To contact you about your consultation request
  • To schedule and run our practice
  • To keep the website working and secure

We do not sell your information. We do not use what you submit on this site for advertising.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers that help us run the website, form, and phone/text systems, and only as needed to provide those services, or when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Form requests are kept only as long as we need them to respond to you and run the practice, or as long as the law requires.

Your choices

You can ask us to update or delete a consultation request you sent by calling or texting (469) 956-3161.

Children

This site is meant for parents, guardians, and adult patients. We ask that a parent or guardian submit consultation requests for minors.

Emergencies

This website and form are not monitored for emergencies. If you or someone else is in danger, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. For a mental health crisis, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline).

Changes

If we update this policy, we’ll post the new version here with a new “Last updated” date.
