Holistic Psychiatric Care for Children, Adolescents, and Young Adults

Currently accepting new patients.

If you’re seeking a compassionate guide for your mental health journey who will understand your family’s unique story and challenges, provide integrative care that addresses the whole person, and empower your child with skills for lifelong resilience … then you’ve found your ally in healing.

I believe in the power of human connection to promote growth and healing, and in order to achieve optimal and sustained mental health, we must work together to address your unique needs. Similar to working with a pediatrician through a child’s growth and development, I aim to be your trusted mental health guide through each stage of childhood, adolescence, and even adulthood.

You are the expert on your story, and I am here to walk alongside you through the trials and triumphs of your mental health journey.

What I Offer

ADHD Testing

QbTest is an FDA-cleared test measuring all 3 core symptom domains: hyperactivity, impulsivity, and inattention. It is used when evaluating ADHD symptoms and measuring response to ADHD treatment.

Medication Management

Medication is often an integral part of treating psychiatric disorders. My approach includes thoughtful use of stimulants, non-stimulants, antidepressants, mood stabilizers, and other medications, optimizing benefit at the lowest effective dose and minimizing side effects. I also offer GeneSight testing for patients who have had multiple medication trials with little success.

Psychotherapy & Life Skills Coaching

I offer Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and psychodynamic therapy to help children, teens, and young adults understand and cope with their emotions, develop healthier thought patterns, and cultivate supportive behaviors. Life Skills coaching focuses on time management, money management, interpersonal communication, conflict resolution, and more.

Psychoeducation

I provide in-depth education on neurobiology, psychotropic medications, and other relevant topics to empower you and your child with the knowledge and understanding for collaborative treatment planning.

Parent Management Training

The gold-standard, evidence-based behavioral intervention developed by Dr. Alan Kazdin. It targets children ages 2–15 with behaviors rooted in conditions like ADHD, anxiety, and DMDD, giving parents the skills to foster more positive relationships and decrease challenging behaviors.

Lab Testing & Nutraceuticals

When appropriate, I offer functional lab testing and recommend targeted nutraceutical supplementation to support brain health and overall functioning, complementing other treatments and addressing underlying biological factors.

Academic & Occupational Support

With a deep understanding of the impact of mental health on academic and work performance, I advocate to ensure you or your child has the support and resources necessary to thrive in these critical areas of life.

Integrative Care Coordination

I coordinate and collaborate with other providers and specialists to ensure cohesive, quality care across all domains of functioning — creating a network of support that promotes overall well-being.

Fees & Billing

How does the cash-based payment system work?

As a psychiatrist committed to providing the highest quality, personalized care, I have chosen to structure my practice on a cash-based payment system. This means that I do not participate in insurance plans directly, allowing me to focus my time and energy on what matters most: understanding and meeting your child’s unique needs. Payment is due at the time of service, and I will provide you with a detailed superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement if you have out-of-network benefits. During our initial consultation, I will discuss my fees and payment options with you transparently, ensuring that you feel comfortable and informed about the investment you are making in your or your child’s well-being. My goal is to create a therapeutic relationship built on trust, compassion, and a shared commitment to your healing and growth.
